Estando en la Provincia de Formosa, traté de realizar algunas de las confluencias que tiene esta provincia Argentina. En este caso estando en la localidad de Ing. Guillermo Juarez, la 24S 62W queda unos 20 Km. al sur de acá.

Estaba con mi hermano Gabriel y salimos por la ruta provincial 39, al rato aparece un canal de agua artificial y la aguja del GPS indicando el rumbo por este, al tener un camino de sirga (que bordea el canal) transitable, nos adentramos por este hasta llegar a 4,3 Km. de la confluencia.

Seguimos un buen trecho más adelante a ver si aparecía un cruce que nos aproximara más a la 24°S 62°W pero salvo algunas pasarelas menores de acceso a puestos en la orilla opuesta no se veía nada que pudiera darnos indicios de llegar más cerca con la camioneta. Tampoco se veía posible ir caminando dado los espeso del monte y teniendo en cuenta que la menor distancia sería entre ida y vuelta más de 8 Km. de monte espeso y espinoso y nos estábamos preparados para tal travesía.

Por lo que optamos por documentar nuestra llegada tomando un punto y foto al GPS en la aproximación que logramos hacer a unos 4300m.

While I was in the province of Formosa, I tried to perform some of the confluences that has this province of Argentina. In this case, been in the town of Ing. Guillermo Juarez, the 62W 24S is just around 20 km. south of here.

I was with my brother Gabriel, and we exit by the provincial route 39, while the GPS indicating the right way was a road bordering a channel, so we went by this up to 4.3 km. of the confluence.

We continue to see if appeared a crossing that us closer to 24° S 62° W, but except for some minor path on the opposite shore that access to unlooked gate, we did not see anything that might give us to come closer with the truck. Additionally, It was impossible to go walking because dense bushes and taking into account that the shorter distance would be between round-trip most of 8 km. from with thick and thorny vegetation and we were prepared for this voyage.

So we opted to documenting our arrival taking a point and photo GPS in the approach that we make at 4300m from CP.
