The adventure of acquiring Confluences is always hiking to them. This one, due to the proximity to the road, was an exception. The pleasure in locating this CP was the drive along Parks Ridge Road. This road isn’t but a few miles long and you drive until you reach the end of it. To either side of this road is farmland of cattle or crop with many open fields of rolling hills. The end of the road faces Westerly overlooking a portion of Cumberland Lake. From this point, head WNW for about 350 feet. Not much has changed since the first visit some 10 years ago. That’s a good thing!
