08-Apr-2001 -- After making a wrong turn and getting out on the wrong ridge, we backtracked to Eli and rode out onto a beautiful ridge overlooking Lake Cumberland. The road ended about 300 ft from the confluence. The confluence is in a small stand of mixed hardwood just over the crest of the ridge and just a few yards from a steep drop-off that ends in the lake. The readings on the GPS all seemed to center on a medium-sized oak. Accuracy on the Garmin Etrex was 22 feet at best.
