04-Aug-2011 -- On our "sunless" summer after several rainy days with my family we travelled from the South side of the Lake Balaton to the North to visit some sights. Before starting I had decided to visit this confluence because on the map it seemed an easy way. Just 100 meter from the main road and there was a track in my Garmin-touristmap. It was not so easy...
When we arrived near to the CP, the rain was getting heavier. So my wife and my three-year old daughter stayed in the car approximately 200 meter from the CP. I told them, my way would be about 10 minutes.
I crossed the main road and walked on a bycycle-road (you can cycle all-round the Balaton, there is a 200 km long cycling-road around the lake). When I approached the crossing of cycling-road and the track I saw nothing. Just the cycling-road the main road and a rail road which were parallel.
I crossed the rail road and tried to break through on the bushes. Unfortunately it was stingers as far as my eyes can see.
Finally I found my shortest distance to the CP over the bushes. At this point (115 m from the CP) I took photos and marked my GPS.
