24-Jun-2015 -- This was the second time I was on the Prime Meridian with a Garmin. First time was a few years ago at the Greenwich Observatory where you can have your photo taken on the North-South line with one foot to the East and one to the West. I had brought my Garmin and found to my dissapointment that it turned out to be inaccurate. I checked the GPS function on my mobile phone too and got the same result. A staff member saw my confused face and explained that the line moves and the actual line was about one hundred meters to the west.

After a family reunion in London my wife and I wanted to see a bit of Yorkshire before heading back home to Norway. On the way, the A10 brought us close to Barkway, from there down a lane which took us towards 52N 0. The last bit was a rather overgrown pathway to a field with large solar panels, a new kind of farming. An electric barbed wire fence surrounded the area and stopped us 74 m from the confluence point. The scene was completely changed since the last visit. A "bee- and insecthotel" was fixed to the fence.
