23-Feb-2016 -- After spending the night in nearby Tamworth, I made an early-morning visit to this Degree Confluence Point, which lies only about 400 m from a road. Reaching the point involved an easy hike through wooded grassland (and across a couple of barbed-wire fences). Along the way I passed several large patches of exposed rock.
The confluence point itself lies in a thicket. Nearby I noticed a kangaroo watching me as I did the ‘confluence dance’; unfortunately, however, it ran away before I could photograph it.
