26-Jul-2018 -- During the summer holidays direction Pyrenees I had the chance to visit some confluence points. On the way back to Germany I visited the confluence 46°N 6°E.

I left the motorway A41 near Gran-Gevrier and followed the road D1508 direction north west. From that junction it was a distance of 15 km to the CP 46N 6E. At a distance of ca. 500 m I found a good parking lot on the left side, resp. western side, of the road. From there I started the walk by foot. It was a quite steep curvy road, named "Route Des Raffour", which let direction west. In front of me I found a little traffic jam, because they cut brushwood next to the road with a big service vehicle. After this vehicle drove beside and the cars passed, I could continue my mission.

Two curves later I reached the junction to the pasture. The road is going to be renewed. The upper layer of the road was removed. The "gate" was made of an electrical cord, which is used to for electrical fences around pastures. I stepped over it and reached the confluence point 46°N 6°E very easily. I is located in a "corner" of the pasture, in a shady area, made by the surrounded trees.

After I had taken the pictures I walked 100 meters direction west, to the crossing, with a building next to it. There the "Route Des Raffours", continuing as "Route de Chilly", crosses the road D7. Direction north you can find the village sign "Sallenôves". From here I took the picture of the general location. This visit took place short past noon and it was very hot.
