21-Dec-2021 -- Die Jahreswechselreise geht in diesem Jahr nach und durch Frankreich. Mit einem kurzen Halt zum kurzen Treffen mit Claudia in Freiburg geht es von Sachsen bis zum Rastplatz an der A40. Nach einer frischen Nacht im Auto beginnt die Confluenz – Fahrt durch Frankreich.

Das erste Ziel ist N 46 ° Ost 6 °, welches laut Navi etwa 30 km entfernt liegt. Ich fahre bis zum Abzweig von der D1508 und dann die kleine Straße aus dem Tal heraus.

Ich parke auf dem Parkplatz an der Kreuzung. Direkt gegenüber kann ich an einer Einfahrt durch den Weidezaun auf die Weide westlich des CP gehen. Der Graben zum Feld mit dem CP ist frisch mit Laub verfüllt und ich sinke fast bis zu den Knien ein.

Der Punkt liegt einige Meter auf diesem kleinen Feld. Das ist extrem schlammig. Schon völlig verschlammt gehe ich zurück zum Auto und hole mir Gummistiefel. Doch auch mit denen ist es mir nicht gelungen alle Nullen auf dem GPS zu fixieren.

Ich sinke immer tiefer in den Schlamm und stecke mit den Stiefeln so fest das ich kaum herauskomme.

Gegen 9:30 Uhr startet die Weiterfahrt. Nun immer auf kleinen Straßen weiter gen Westen.

21-Dec-2021 -- This year's New Year's trip is to and through France.

With a short stop to meet Claudia in Freiburg, we drive from Saxony to a resting area on the highway A40. After a chilly night in the car, the confluence journey through France begins. The first destination is N 46 ° East 6 °, which is about 30 km away according to the satnav. I drive to the turn-off from the D1508 and then the small road out of the valley.

I stop at the car park at the junction. Directly opposite, I can pass through the pasture fence at a gateway onto the pasture west of the CP. The ditch to the field with the CP is freshly filled with leaves and I sink in almost to my knees.

The point is a few metres into this small field. It is extremely muddy. Already completely muddy, I go back to the car and get some rubber boots. But even with them I didn't manage to fix all the zeros on the GPS.

I sink deeper and deeper into the mud and get my boots so stuck that I can hardly get out.

At around 9:30 a.m. we continue our journey. Now always on small roads further west.
