13-Aug-2024 -- This is the 6th out of 10 reports visiting confluence points during a 10-day bicycle trip from Biała Podlaska (Poland) to Chemnitz (Germany). The story starts at 52°N 23°E and continues from 51°N 20°E.
In the morning I started from Krakow, where I took a train to the city Częstochowa. When I arrived in Częstochowa, I first rode to the pilgrim mountain Jasna Góra (Klarenberg), there was a lot going on! Different coloured groups of pilgrims came to the Pilgrims Monastery from all directions. I then headed for 51° North 19° East, which was only 120 m from a track (named Kazimierza Wielkiego). Right there, where the track intersects with a huge overhead-powerline, I parked my bicycle. I walked though the forest to the confluence, which took 3 times longer than my return in the meadow under the powerline. The confluence is in a mixed forest with lots of undergrowth.
After the visit, I continued westwards as my goal of this trip was to complete my line of not yet visited confluence points on 51°N.
