13-Jul-2024 -- On a week-long trip to Ireland I was able to visit three confluence points.

This second one, confluence point 52°N 10°W, is located in the county Kerry southwest of Ireland. We came from the north east, Killorglin, via the N70, stopped and had a coffee on the Rossbehy peninsula and took a walk through the amazing dunes there. After this refreshment the trip continued a short distance on the N70 to than take the secondary road L11648. After about 5.5 km the Coomasaharn Lake was reached. The road has it's dead end there, near a estate. I parked the car next to a creek, which is the outflow of the lake. From there the GPS shows 830 m beeline the confluence point, which is located opposite the lake and clearly visible from my point of view. I started the walk along the road, that led to a small settlement at the north of the lake, named after the lake Coomasaharn. It was very quiet, only a dog was barking in one of the houses. After walking through a private but open property, with a lots of agricultural material, I reached the first pasture. There was no cattle there. Later I had to pass a small ditch and a pasture gate and some more steep meters I reached the confluence point 52°N 10°W! It is located a steep pasture with a stunning view of the Coomasaharn Lake. The weather was perfect and so I had no problems taking the necessary photos for a successful visit. I took the same way back and I think the same dog was barking as before.

After around 50 minutes of walk and 2 x 100 m difference in altitude my second visit in Ireland was complete.
