07-Jan-2001 -- Our family decided to do an adventorous outing in the weekend so we located a confluence some 80 kms from our home. We could drive to within a few hundred meters of the confluence on a small road. It was farmland with houses spread out along the fields.
When the final leg of the journey was to be started on foot, the youngest participant Max (3yrs old) had a slight fever and decided to wait in the car with his mother Louise. The remaining corageous few, Emmy and Johan, passed over a ditch and walked over a field to find the confluece point near a fence and a ditch.
To the north a forest could be seen, and to the east and west there were houses. On the way back we passed through a small village with a flea market where we stopped and bought som small flags.
