09-Sep-2001-- We set off from Adare in county Limerick with a Magellan Pioneer and a Sony DSC505v Camera. The confluence is in the heart of the Burren an area of fissured limestone known as Karst which is exposed in great irregular slabs with deep cracks between them known as pavements. As we neared the confluence Liam spotted an even more startling sight; "Craggy Island Parocial House"!!!!!!! (530038N 0090148W). We called for tea but Mrs Doyle was on holidays!
It took about an hour navigating the rocky terrain but we got there eventually.
