11-Oct-2004 -- On the way back to Dublin we called in at the Cliffs of Moher which is well worth a vist and then headed inland, via the Craggy Island Parochial house (which we couldn't resist) to the the very strange area known as the Burren.
This is a giant limestone pavement right out of a school geography textbook. We parked up about 1.4km from the confluence and thought it would be an easy walk to the spot but in fact it took over 1hr20min for the round trip. I'd also waymarked the car as it would have been very easy to get lost in such a featureless environment.
Anway looking North, and the views South, East and West and the GPS.
