04-Aug-2003 -- Confluence point N55-E38 is not far from Moscow (about 80 kilometers to south) near railway station "Gilovo". According to my map the distance from railway station to target is about 1.5 kilometer. After arriving to "Gilovo" station by train I started my journey (picture 2).

My eTrex points to the forest near the railway. I entered the forest and tried to reach confluence point by shortest way but soon I realize that shortest way is not always good enough. So I decided to use the way which I found not far from me. It was former railway (picture 3).

The day was beauty - sunshine, blue sky with white clouds. Suddenly I thought that I wonder which raytracer God used ? Soon I found a place where stopped to have a rest (picture 4).

After the rest I went by lane directly to the target point. I found a village which was not marked on my map (picture 5).

Just after the village I reach the destination point. I found a list of paper with inscription "Confluence point" on it. I guess that this mark was left here by the first confluence points seeker (picture 6).

I make a photo of my eTrex with remarkable digits (picture 7).

And after all I make a panorama photo of this point (picture 1).

So I wasn't first who reach this point but I was second and it was a wonderful journey and I hope to visit many other confluence points !
