07-Nov-2004 -- While visiting my brother and his wife in Nybble near Kristinehamn, I took the chance to go to the nearest confluence, which is only some 15 km from Nybble. We drove to Gullspång and then out on the peninsula Ålön, but took the south road at the junction near the church at Amnehärad. The road leading west goes more directly to the goal. All road signs after Amnehärad had names unknown to the map.
At last we arrived at a road junction about 700 m east of the confluence. There is a wrecked shed at the place. The last 700 m we walked (the road was closed to motorized traffic), and the last 98 m were through a rather dense forest. The GPS didn't receive more than 4 satellites, different ones at different places, so I performed a 10 minute confluence dance in the area to be sure I was on the right spot. Meanwhile my brother Rolf and his dog Perry played with a big stick. The weather was extremely good to be in early November.
