24-Jun-2019 -- Driving today from Payson, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado, my route passed close to two easily-accessible Degree Confluence Points. I had already visited these two points, but decided to revisit them to get a new ‘drone’s eye’ view.

I had previously visited this point almost 13 years earlier, in July 2006. I remembered that the dirt roads - branching off Elberta Slant Road - were very rough, so this time I decided to keep driving on Elberta Slant Road until I got to its closest point from the Degree Confluence Point - just 0.5 miles away, and hike the rest of the way. The hike was easy - across flat, sandy terrain, among thinly-spaced sagebrush. I crossed two fences en route.

The point was just as I had remembered it, except that a wooden post that I saw there in 2006 was no longer present.
