17-Mar-2002 -- On my way to Taranto I decided to make a break and to pay 46°N 13°E a visit. From visitor#1 I knew that the DCP supposed to be inside a private house. On this sunny, early spring Sunday I could have a good chance to meet the owner of the house and so I did.

Coming from Udine I headed west and could see the church tower from far away and then entered San Lorenzo from south-east. When I turned to right into the ‘Via Montegrappa’, the target was visible directly ahead. In front of the gate I was able to locate the spot somewhere in the back of the garden.

Since hospitality is a widely known habit in Italy I was invited to enter the garden. Sig. Elivio Fanutti was very interested in the matter. After I showed him a print of the previous visit he said ‘that’s my gas tank’ and opened the door in order to demonstrate it. The exact position is situated just inside the back door.

Then I gave my confluence plate to the family, and left this nice place. So I was happy to find the confluence in a private garden and not on the military area just outside of San Lorenzo.
