23-Jun-2005 -- 42N 105W. My daughter Brittany, grandson Harrison and I visited this confluence at about 7:30 PM on June 23, 2005. We drove on county roads to a spot directly west of the point. We then parked and walked about 130 meters to the point. There were no fences and no people.
It was cloudy and windy. It started to rain. One of the photos shows Brittany and Harrison heading back to the car. It was an interesting spot. We had been driving for the prior two days in South Dakota. This part of Wyoming still looks a lot like South Dakota but the transition to Rocky Mountain territory is beginning. The corn we saw was not quite as high as that which we saw a couple of days earlier in Iowa.
As always, it’s magical to see all those zeroes! Thanks for getting us out!
