03-Sep-2018 -- Visited this spot on the High Plains while traveling back to Denver from Mt. Rushmore (highly recommend). It was less than 10 minutes off I-25. I didn’t stand right on the spot because it was in a field and I wanted to be mindful of not trespassing. The view of the front range of the Rockies as the sun went down was fantastic.
