22-Jan-2008 -- It was a sunny winter's day, temperatures around freezing point. Having finished some business just north of Oslo I realized I was close to the confluence point and decided to go for it.
We rang the door bell at Wærhaug farm to ask for permission to enter the field. No one answered, but as the ground was frozen we gathered that we would do no harm to the fields and trotted along to the cp a few hundred meters downhill.
The TV team which went to the cp a couple of weeks before us had been skiing. When my wife and I approached the snow had gone, but we saw the tracks of the team in the grass.
Returning to the farm we met the farmer's wife and her two dogs. She told us about the TV team, about an Australian who had been there on motorcycle and the door bell that did not work......
