25-Oct-2000 -- This (unofficial) confluence
is located just 20 minutes away from
downtown Oslo, in the middle of a field. Yesterday, 2000-10-25, I took a
one-hour lunch break, which I used to drive up to the area: E6 to
Skedsmokorset, and then local roads for a few km to the exit to Wærhaug
farm (photo #3).
At the farm house I stopped to ask for permission, and after a short
explanation about the need to visit the confluence point, the lady said
to go ahead.
A dirt track from the farm house leads almost all the way to the point,
so I just grabbed the camera and gps and walked the last 300m, to where
the GPS gave a nice set of zeroes (photo #2).
While at the spot I took the usual set of photos and merged them into a
360 degree panaroma (photo #1). The panorama starts and stops
toward the south, Oslo city is located on the other side of those hills.
