24-Oct-2008 -- This is the third out of nine confluences that I visited during a 3-day trip to Spain. The story starts from 41°N 4°W.

Coming from 41°N 5°W I took the county road CL-610, followed by motorway A-50 to Salamanca and finally road CL-517 that took me as close as 2.3 km to the confluence point. I missed the intersection to the confluence, made a u-turn and then took a gravel track until I reached a place called Tozas. Officially this place has a population of one inhabitant.

I parked the car at a distance of 851 m in Tozas and started hiking. At a distance of 250 m I crossed another gravel road that I could have taken by car as well, but anyway it was a beautiful day and the hike was pleasant. I passed a water hole where cows and bulls come to drink, but I couldn’t see any, so I continued the hike without any worry. Very close to the confluence point - I guess less than 100 m - is an interesting rock that looks like a frog.

Exactly at the confluence point is a little wall that consists of loose rocks, which has obviously not existed back in 2002. The confluence is a pleasant place and invites for a stay. There are scattered olive trees to sit in the shade and watch peacefully the rock sculptures around you.
