11-Sep-2007 -- Driving south through Oregon on Interstate 5, we attempted to visit this confluence point near Salem. During the search, the tracking feature on the GPS unit showed that we had driven very close to the point on the southbound on-ramp at junction 260A. It was not possible to stop due to the volume of traffic, so we drove on, took the next exit, and went back to try again. Second time around, we figured that pulling over to the verge to stop was not feasible. However, we succeeded in getting a photo of the GPS unit as we passed within meters of the confluence point, and traveling at a speed of 62.8 km/hr. It’s obviously an incomplete visit, but with the single photo shot taken at speed, thought it may be worthy of inclusion.
