19-Feb-2012 -- By reviewing satellite imagery beforehand, I realized that I could approach this confluence point fairly easily from Summerland Way (the nearby paved highway), by taking a farm path that starts just north of the 29 degree line. It turned out that I didn't need to take the farm path, because the bushland between the road and the confluence point is quite thinly vegetated, making for easy hiking on a warm Summer day (at least 30 degrees C).
The confluence point itself lies in a clearing, amid a handful of downed gum trees, which made the 'confluence dance' to get 'all zeros' rather difficult. The view from the confluence point is rather bland - a typical Australian bush scene.
