While driving from north-eastern Germany towards Berlin - where I'll be ending my trip - I stopped by this easy confluence point on the outskirts of the town of Angermünde (what a scary-looking name!). The confluence point lies just within the parking lot of a police ("Bundespolizei") depot. By walking along the sidewalk outside, I was able to get 17 meters from the point. Although I assume that German police are somewhat friendlier than they were 70 years ago, I didn't want to bother them by going inside the parking lot to try to get 'all zeros'.
This confluence point is close to Germany's border with Poland. Because Germany and Poland are part of the Schengen Area - thus having no border control between them - before visiting this confluence I decided to make a quick visit to Poland to visit the mysterious, nearby 'bent trees of Gryfino'.
