31-Jul-2014 -- This is the second out of 5 reports reaching confluence points in Southern Norway.

The story starts from 60°N 11°E.

This is what I call “hyper-confluence”, one of those rare species with both, latitude and longitude being divisible by 10. There are only 17 * 36 + 2 = 614 hyper-confluences on Earth, with about 200 being located on land!. I had visited 40°N 0°EW, 40°N 110°E and 50°N 10°E. This time I was able to align all twelve zeroes at the GPS display.

After my early morning visit of 60°N 11°E, I cycled via Roa and Hønefoss towards Vikersund. The main road misses this confluence only by 330 m. I parked my bicycle at the end of a farm track at 150 m distance and conveniently hiked to the exact location along the edge of a grain field. Luckily, the confluence turned out to be 13 m into the forest, such that I could get the zero reading. Access to the grain field would not have been possible at this time of the year.

Nearby I saw an object that looked like a giant flower pot. But it turned out to be a part of a pipe for the sewage.

I continued cycling towards the east, looking forward to discovering the surprises that the neighboring confluence point would bring. I was prepared to spend another night camping out in the wilderness.
