03-Sep-2017 -- This is the second out of 9 reports reaching confluence points during a one-week cycling trip around Ireland. The story continues from 54°N 7°W.

I spent the night at the town Killashandra, which is located west of the Killykeen Forest Park right in the middle between 7°W and 8°W on the 54^th latitude.

The next morning, I continued riding over minor single-lane roads and parked my bicycle 20 m from the confluence point right at the intersection of two of those minor roads.

To reach the exact confluence point, I had again to enter a meadow with cows. But this time the cows didn’t attack me but disappeared to the other side of the field such that I could peacefully document the confluence point, which is right at the northernmost corner of the meadow. Less than 10 m from the confluence point, there is an old abandoned stone house with a roof consisting of a corrugated metal sheet. The ground around the confluence is boggy, i.e. very wet. Actually, most of Ireland’s confluence points are on wet ground – which is no wonder considering Ireland's frequent rainfall.

On this rainy Sunday morning, I saw nobody. This was quite a peaceful visit although the confluence point is located at the crossroads.
