23-Jul-2019 -- During our summer holidays in Canada, I took the chance to visit some confluence points. The story continues from
45°N 75°W visit #6.
We came the road 35 from north west and had to take the ferry to Glenora. These few houses are located in Prince Edward County, as well as the aimed CP. After following three roads for about 10 kilometres we reached the nearer area of the confluence point 44°N 77°W. We came from north west along the road CR8. In a 90 degree bend I left the street and took a private way, called "Lodge Lane", leading straight to the bank of Lake Ontario. Short after leaving the street I took the picture of the general area of the CP. It is located on a little field, around 100 metres before the bank. Further direction confluence point I met Ben, the Owner of the land. He set up a nice little place with some holiday-cottages named "Waupoos Islandview Cottages". He stopped mowing grass and I explained him my doing. He was very friendly, gave me access to the field and allowed me to take pictures. Maybe it was carrots growing. But the plants had a large distance to each other, so I didn't stepped on any of it. The picture with all the zeros and the cardinal directions were done quite fast. In comparison with the pictures from the last visit, five years ago, many stuff was placed direction south. Soon we left this beautiful place direction Picton and further direction west.
