03-Jun-2001 -- This is a beautiful site on the North Shore of Lake Ontario.

We weren't sure if we were going to be able to get to the confluence point when we realized that it was on private land, but the owners came out to find out what we were up to as soon as we arrived. They were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic!

Bill and Doreen Smith, who own the property, have been running a small fishing camp here for the last 40 years. They were well aware of their unique geographical location as they have spent hours pouring over their hydrographic charts planning fishing trips, noting changing fish populations and showing tourists where the best local fishing spots are.
