22-Jun-2001 -- Midsummer Eve and warm weather. Started from the main road between Sarna and Sorvattnet at half past 8PM.

Several millions of mosquitoes tried to get blood from us. We walked up a forest road and then a very steep hill into the forest. We walked about one kilometer and gained 120 meter in altitude.

After half an hour we reached the point dripping with perspiration. A big valley and big mountains westwards and trees everywhere. We were about 25 meters below the highest point of mountain Lillfjatasen. Took some pictures, in one of them you see mosquitoes in the flash light.
