30-Dec-2005 -- On a recent visit to Illinois for the holidays, I planned to visit one of the most easily accessable confluences. This point, located near the middle of a residential street in suburban Elk Grove, IL, USA, proved to be an easy initiation into the world of degree confluence. There have been a number of submissions at this point before mine and I am happy to finally join the ranks. I look forward to reaching other confluence points.
