#1: The confluence point lies either on the street, or the grass verge

27-Jul-2007 -- This is a very easy confluence - it lies on the side of a street in Elk Grove Village, a nice, quiet residential suburb of Chicago, not far from O'Hare airport. The street - Brantwood Street - runs east-to-west, so the north and south views end up being close-up views of people's houses. Because of this, I felt a little guilty about taking those photos; I hope the residents don't mind.
