19-Jun-2007 -- Cheryl and I were en route from our home in Virginia to a square dance festival in Milwaukee and taking a few extra days to do some sightseeing and GPSing. While in Chicago we visited the Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio in Oak Park. The confluence at 42N 88W was less than 10 miles away so we had to visit it while that close.
On our way to dinner at about 7:30 PM (my GPSr is on Eastern time) we stopped in Elk Grove Village at 70 Brentwood Avenue. This is a quiet suburban residential neighborhood with small attractive homes. See photo #1 showing the house on the north side of the street and photo #2 showing the one on the south side. I acquired all zeros on my GPSr (photo #5) fairly quickly while standing in the middle of Brentwood Avenue. Photos #3 and #4 show the views to the east and west along Brentwood Avenue from the confluence.
