13-Oct-2007 -- We visited this confluence on our way to the town of Loris, SC, in Horry County, to eat hot dogs at Fowler's Grill. The first visit sums up the area pretty well. The rural, agricultural community in the area is surrounded by piney woods and low-lying swampy areas. 34N 79W is an easy confluence visit. The site itself is on the south edge of Bluegrass Road, so no permissions or hiking are required.
