27-May-2013 -- On our way back home from Memorial Day weekend in Wichita, Kansas, we stopped at 38N 98W as it was nearby our route. The confluence lies in what was a field of wheat. The wheat grown in the area is a shorter hybrid. When you think of wheat you think of tall stalks, most of the wheat we saw were these small 1-foot-or-so stalks. Considering, the farm which owns this field of wheat crop probably wouldn't have liked us going into their field.
