24-Oct-2015 -- This is the second out of 2 reports reaching confluence points in Northern Germany over a weekend. The story continues from 54°N 9°E.

On Sunday morning I got up at 6 AM when it was still dark and raining. But when I got on the road, a beautiful autumn day began. I cycled from Wilster via Itzehoe towards Neumünster, taking small roads or bicycle paths. The confluence point is located 8 km south of the town Neumünster and 300 m from a main road. A farm track leads directly to the confluence.

The confluence point is located in the corner of a field with young sprouts of winter grains. The area is mostly farmland with scattered patches of forest.

Right after the visit, I cycled back to Hamburg. Since I was ahead of my schedule, I had enough time to visit the giant project HafenCity of Hamburg. This is the largest rebuilding project in Europe and is expected to host 12’000 inhabitants and 40’000 office workplaces.

In the evening at 8:20 PM I took the overnight train back to Hamburg to be timely at work on Monday morning.
