03-Jun-2011 -- 1 of 2 South Carolina degree confluences visited today on our drive from Myrtle Beach to I-95.

After spending the previous day visiting friends in Myrtle Beach we made a few morning stops at rural SC degree confluences. We followed dirt roads back until the GPSr read 0 feet, backed up the van and stopped to explore the area surrounding the confluence.

This is an easy, drive up confluence to visit. There is a small house visible east of the confluence. However, this is a very quiet back road. No cars passed during the 10 or 15 minutes we were here.

I took some photographs and posed for a degree confluence phoon.
