04-Sep-2015 -- Ну, это было несложно. Автобус от автовокзала Беруна до Нижбора ходит раз в час, но мне не пришлось долго ждать. Билет стоил 19 крон, можно платить водителю. Набилось много людей, но большинство вышло до Нижбора. Автобус останавливается рядом со стекольным заводом, который за несколько дней до моего визита был объявлен банкротом. На него по-прежнему проводятся интересные экскурсии, но я не успел из-за того, что приехал ближе к вечеру. Рядом с заводом есть железнодорожная станция, и с нее можно доехать на дизеле до Беруна.

Перейдя рядом с заводом мост через речку Берунку, сразу попадаешь к подножию холма, на котором находится замок. К замку можно кратчайшим путем подняться по тропе между частными владениями. От деревянного креста, возвышающегося над Нижбором, идет тропинка почти до самого пересечения. Недостающие несколько шагов до нулей на навигаторе в это время года сделать сложно - на склоне очень плотная растительность. Однако аккурат в конце тропинки стоит маленький каменный столбик с координатами пересечения и небольшой репер, перекрестие на вершине которого, должно быть, и есть та самая точка. Приведенные координаты отклоняются от показываемых в этом месте приемником только по долготе, на 0,014 минуты. Может быть, это из-за небольшого расхождения в разных системах координат, а может, здесь просто было удобно ставить столбик. Я сделал фотографии по сторонам света с этой точки. Если подняться чуть выше прямо к стене замка, можно подойти к месту с хорошим видом на окрестности и отклонением от "всех нулей" только по широте на 0,004 минуты.

В деревне, как всегда, скучновато. Даже если в ее центре средневековый замок. В замке есть какой-то музей кельтской культуры, но его посетителей я не видел. Спустившись вниз, сел на тот же самый автобус. От автостанции Беруна можно уехать в Прагу до конечной станции метро Зличин. Я же прошел пешком до железнодорожного вокзала и поехал на электричке сразу в центр (за 67 крон).

04-Sep-2015 -- Well, that was an easy one. The bus from the station in Beroun to Nižbor runs every hour, but I did not wait long. Ticket costs 19 Crowns, you can pay to the driver. There were lots of people in the bus, but most of them got off before Nižbor. The bus stops next to the glass factory which went bankrupt a few days before my visit. It still offers interesting industrial tours, but not in the late afternoon. So I have just looked at it. Near the factory there is a railway station, and one can reach Beroun by diesel train from here.

I crossed the bridge over the Berouka river and got to the foot of the hill on which the castle stands. The shortest way up to the castle is the trail between private gardens. From a wooden cross rising above Nižbor on the top of the hill there is a path going almost to the confluence. Last several steps separating you from the all zeroes are difficult to make in summer - the vegetation on the steep slope is too dense. However, exactly at the end of the path stands a small stone column with the coordinates of the confluence and a geodetic point with a crosshair on the top which is supposed to mark the exact position of the intersection. These coordinates deviate from those shown by the GPS unit only in longitude for 0.014 minutes. Maybe this is because of the small differences in different coordinate systems or maybe it was just a convenient place to place the column. I took the pictures in the compass directions from this point. If you climb a little higher up to the walls of the castle, you can reach the a point with a good view on the surrounding area lying in just 0.004 minutes from the all zeroes.

All the villages are boring. Even if a medieval castle stands in the center. There is a museum of Celtic culture in the castle, but I did not see any visitors. Downstairs and back to the same bus. From the bus station in Beroun you can reach terminus metro station Zličín in Prague. Instead, I walked to the train station and went by train directly to the city center (for 67 Crowns).
