Замок Карлштейн – одна из главных достопримечательностей ближайших пригородов Праги. Мы осмотрели замок, прослушали увлекательную экскурсию и прогулялись по городку рядом с замком. В конце мне в глаза бросилась схема с ближайшими замками Чехии (Среднечешского края) и я увидел на схеме замок а Нижборе. Я сразу вспомнил, что этот замок стоит на конфлюенции N50° E14°. Я тут же проложил к нему маршрут в телефоне и понял, что доеду туда за полчаса (не более 30 км всего).

Сказано – сделано. И вот около 6 вечера я обходил замок в поисках точных координат. Музей кельтской культуры уже был закрыт.

Сначал мне показалось, что точное место расположено как раз внутри замка. Однако, когда я обошел его стены, то обнаружил протоптанную тропинку, которая шла к установленному знаку. Однако точные координаты были где-то поблизости. В сторону реки Берунка (Berounka) довольно крутой склон, плотно заросший непроходимой растительностью. Возможно, это было самое удобное место для установки мини обелиска.

Я поднялся повыше прямо к стенам замка и нашёл более точные координаты точки Слияния целочисленных координат. С точки открывается хороший вид на север и восток, на городок Нижбор и речку Берунку.

Karlstein Castle is one of the main attractions of the nearby suburbs of Prague. We visited the castle, attended a fascinating tour and strolled through the town near the castle. At the end I saw a scheme with old castles of Czech Republic (Central Bohemian Region), and I noticed Nižbor Castle. I immediately thought that this castle is disposed on the confluence N50° E14°. I used the navigation programm on my phone, at once I got three pathes to my new target and realized that I shall reach there in half an hour (not more than 30 km total).

| No sooner said than done. And about 6 pm, I walked around the castle in search of the exact coordinates. Celtic culture Museum was already closed.

At first it seemed to me that the exact confluence spot is located just inside the castle. However, when I walked around the walls, I found trodden path that led to the sign. However, the exact location was somewhere nearby. Towards the river Berunka (Berounka) there is fairly steep slope densely overgrown with impenetrable vegetation. Perhaps it was the most convenient place for the installation of small obelisk.

I climbed higher right to the castle walls and found more accurate coordinates of CP. At that place there were good views to the north and east, to Nižbor town and Berunka river.
