12-Nov-2008 -- My easiest confluence ever!
I needed to travel from Oslo, Norway to Boulder to do some lab test for a communication problem I'd been investigating for three weeks: Flying via Copenhagen and Frankfurt to Denver, I got a rental car and drove the shortest possible route from the airport to Boulder.
As many other visitors have noted, the confluence is just a few meters south of the two-lane Baseline road, so the only problem was to wait for a big gap in the afternoon traffic before I could cross the road and walk to the point.
Doing the zero dance was easy, I had stable GPS reception and WAAS differential corrections.
Total time for the visit was probably about five minutes, of which two were spent waiting for traffic.
