14-May-2015 -- This is the 8^th out of 12 reports reaching confluence points along the 51°N-line. The story starts from 51°N 14°E.

After a drive of just 1 hour on the motorway E40 towards Cologne from 51°N 8°E, we reached the vicinity of this confluence at 2:30 PM. Although this confluence is squeezed in between a motorway, a highway and a train track, it was quite difficult to reach it. Coming from the highway, we had to make several loops until we reached the Golf Club Leverkusen e.V. in 900 m distance. Since this was a dead end, we decided to park our vehicle there and walk to the point even though it would be possible to access the confluence directly by car, rather than searching around to find the access by car.

The confluence is located at the edge of a young grain field. A train track is just 20 m away.

Again, we didn’t hang around for a long time at this confluence, since we planned to visit another 4 confluence points before end-of-day.
