03-Jun-2001 -- We reached the area of the confluence after a several hour trip from Berlin. As we got there it was already late in the day and judging from the map we tried the approach from Toitz. There is a very heavily blocked forest road leading north. We decided to try an easier approach. Driving around the small wooded area we followed a road leading very close to the confluence. The confluence seemed to be right behind a meadow full with young bulls. We did not pursue this approach either. Now the next path we tried was via Zarnelka. As we followed the road right along the woods we got closer and closer until we left the car to reach the confluence by foot.
Already the afternoon got late and it began to turn dark. By now my fellow confluence hunters began to see tracks of wild boars, heard funny sounds and we decided it needed a local hunter and hero to come any closer. Both were not at hand.
Whoever is more adventurous and courageous than us should use the little road from Zarnelka and then follow the tracks to where the boars guard the confluence point N54 E13. Good Luck!
