29-Mar-2012 -- Having just had another birthday, my 53rd, to celebrate another year on the clock - they seem to go by so quickly - as I was passing here, then it seemed the obvious thing to swing by and just check it out.
Parked in the usual spot, in front of the gate to the water treatment/pumping station. You shouldn't park in front of the gate to the track as it is now the access road into some private fishing lake. While I was there I saw someone make use of it, block it and you won't be popular.
It's a nice sunny day and dry, so even though I am in my suit and work shoes I just wander on round to the spot. The farmer has been busy and the drainage ditch that was full of interesting wild flowers, has now been scavenged completely bare of anything.
You reach the point by walking along the tractor tracks, so no need to wander through the crops. Click off the pictures and back to the car.
Looks quite different from when I was here with Rainer Mautz doesn't it?
